CricketCoachMaster taking Coaching to another level

In 2001 Gary Palmer was invited to work with the Australian Test Team.
He has built up a good reputation and is regarded as one of the most innovative coaches in the country.
He is a very versatile coach because he specialises in three cricket disciplines.
Gary runs Specialist Batting, Fast Bowling and fielding workshops at various coaches conferences.
He is regularly used by, various first class county sides, University centres of excellence and the E.C.B National coaches with their various squads.

 

Program of Mixed Specialist Sessions.
These mixed workshops are one day sessions.

Batting specialist sessions will last 3 to 4 hours	approx 12 players
Bowling sessions will last 3 hours	approx 12 players
Fielding sessions 2 hours.	approx 20 players

A) Specialist Batting & Fielding
B) Specialist Fast Bowling & Fielding
C) Specialist Fast Bowling & Batting

You can also have batting and bowling twice in the same session or a you could combine a bowling workshop with a series of one-to-one batting intensive batting sessions on the bowling machine.
We aim to offer, intense and very focused sessions and to this end we will look to work in small groups with an effective player to coach ratio.
If you want to book Gary to deliver theses various specialist workshops over a set number of consecutive days this can be arranged and a revised price will be quoted. He is prepared to split a workshop over two days for the same fee in certain circumstances.
Size of group will depend on the size of the facility.

Coach Education
Gary has suggested that one or two select members of your cricket coaching staff could work along side him while he is delivering these specialist sessions. He could then show them all the latest coaching techniques and also different innovative practices and drills.
If your establishment would like to set up a teacher training day Gary will take the teachers and coaches through the various above Specialist Workshops. The fielding session will give you a wealth of exciting new drills and ideas for fielding circuits. Maybe you could open these sessions to other teachers and coaches in the area, as this would guarantee the numbers. Being involved on a daily basis with teachers I understand how difficult it is to get time to attend these things.
All the specialist workshops will cover the following areas:

• TECHNIQUE

• TACTICS

• MENTAL APPROACH

At the end of the workshop all players will have improved techniques, a better knowledge of game plans and a good understanding of the mental side of bowling.

Age ranges: 12 - 14 years & 15 - 18 years
Cost to School/Club/: £260 (plus travelling expenses)
